That’s all it would have taken to help out a sick mommy. I’ve had a fever, chills, sweats, body aches the whole nine yards for the past two days. ‘Cause I’ve been far too sick to clean, this is what my kitchen looked like:
This is what it looked like 16 minutes later (after I cleaned it up):
Seriously – I do EVERYTHING around here (well, except the night time parenting of the toddler that HATES sleep).

Aww, poor thing! I hope you’re feeling better. It’s hard to be sick and be a mommy isn’t.

Poor you, I hope you get better soon. And when you are better will you clean my kitchen too please? Even when I’m not sick I can’t seem to clean it fully

Believe me, I understand! I had to have major surgery last month- and the very day I came home from the hospital, was trying to get the house cleaned because no one else does anything (INCLUDING the baby who is up every 3 hours) – so I hope you’re feeling better soon – from the mom who is STILL having surgery complications cuz she hasn’t been allowed to recuperate!

Feel better soon Janice!
I COMPLETELY understand how you feel. One day, as I was loading the dishwasher again for the 1000′th time, I asked Chris why he never did it and do you know what he said to me? He said, “because you grew up poor and didn’t have a dishwasher, I figured the novelty hadn’t worn off for you yet”. Nice husband, eh?
