Let It Snow!

Posted by Janice On December - 23 - 2004

Last night we got hit with a whole crap load of snow – and I couldn’t be happier! I love how the world becomes much quieter under a blanket of snow, and how pretty and peaceful the world looks, even if it is just for a few hours before the snow turns into brown ugly slush, and cars become covered in that nasty grey salt. I hope the snow continues to fall ALL day – afterall – I have no where to go – I’ve finished my Christmas shopping, and Cosmo Boy has refused to drive me to work!

Let It Snow!

In an effort to get into the spirit of the season, I’ve taken the liberty of creating a new page template called winter. Since not everyone shares my love of the fluffy white stuff, I’ve added a quote that many people can relate to. If you don’t see the new template upon first visit, then scroll through the “STYLE” drop down menu and choose “Winter”. Happy Holidays everyone!

I can’t believe that I’m saying this, but the snow that we have at the moment is
putting me in the holiday mood. Can’t say that snow has ever done anything positive
in the past! I for one like your snowflakes. :)

About Me

This blog is about me – Janice, a wife, mother, employee, runner, softball player, internet addict and a completely obsessed New Kids On The Block fan. My blog title is about my running, as at the time this blog began back in 2004 I was a running mother-to-be, training for a 1/2 marathon. Part way through the pregnancy running became too uncomfortable for me leading me to slowly back off on my running. Now a days “Mom On The Run” is a reflection of how busy life has become caring for 2 completely adorable, yet “spirited” little girls while my hubby travels A LOT for business, though I do still run on occasion.
