Mom On The Run

So Cosmo Baby will soon be gracing us with his/her presence. Which means that we gotta come up with a name for this kid – afterall we can’t make this kid go through life being called “Hey You” (though if we spelt it Jesus we might get away with it). Cosmo Boy REALLY wants a girl, a “little Marie” (he obviously doesn’t know what he’s getting himself into). So coming up with a girl’s name has been no problem: Sierra Nicole. Sierra – after the Sierra Mountains in Nevada (we got married in Las Vegas, Nevada). And Nicole? It just seems to go well with Sierra. For a boy, we’ve picked out the first name Hunter. Hunter is Cosmo Boy’s grandmother’s maiden name. But a middle name? We’ve been discussing that one for 8 months. Anyone got any ideas? Cosmo Boy has already shot down: Michael, and Matthew… Help!

Yes – the moment you’ve all been waiting for! I must thank you for your immense patience – I finally found time to watch the Survivor Finale that my friend taped for me – and yeah – it was totally worth the wait to see Ian give up his chance for a million $$ like that. Is he on crack? I love my friends and all – but seriously – who’d give up their chance for a million?

LORI was our ultimate Survivor winner with 24 points, followed closely by Pink Lady with 21 points, and Lazy Blonde with 19 points. Way to go everyone – and thanks for participating.

I will be sending Lori a wonderful Cosmo GRRL prize this week. (Probably a WalMart gift card because WalMart is Cosmo GRRL’s FAVOURITE store!)

I’ll go first: Last weekend, Cosmo Boy and I trekked up to our Nation’s Capital (Ottawa) for our last visit with his family sans-children. While there, I learned that Cosmo Baby’s Great-Grandmother, and Great-Aunt we’re throwing me a shower! This means that Cosmo Baby will no longer have to spend the first few weeks of his/her life naked…

I am spending my Memorial Day with my little sister! I am so excited since we haven’t really seen eachother or spent time together in three years. Plus she just found out she is pregnant with her first child. Great excitement! Thanks for letting me share.

Well, I didn’t even realize it was Victoria Day last weekend, since it was also my daughter’s birthday. I did notice some fireworks but I thought we were all celebrating her birthday together. You know how thoughtful we Canadians are

I did go without my cable connection for 4 hours tonight because of the hydro spike in Ontario, so those lucky Americans can be thankful they’re not in Canada during their long weekend.
