Home Is Where The Heart Is

Posted by Janice On February - 28 - 2007

And I’m about to get a new home. Last night hubby and I put an offer on a new house. The scary part is that it was accepted. Uh Oh! Now we have to move AND sell our house before May 31st. Umm did I mention I’ll be 8 months preggers when we move and we have a toddler? Gosh – what was I thinking? I must be Nucking Futs! Oh well – here’s a LINK to a slideshow of the new house!

To say I’m scared is putting it mildly. We have a ton of work to do to make our house market ready – something we should have been doing for the past 2 months… You know – painting, de-cluttering, packing etc… But we work well under pressure

The house is AMAZING! The driveway fits 6 cars + 1 in the garage, it has 4 bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths, finished basement with a gas fireplace, large eat-in kitchen, living room with French doors (I’ve always wanted French doors), and here’s the best part: It’s got a 28 x 14 ft in-ground pool! I LOVE swimming – so much so that I was a lifegueard during my university days. Oh man – I can’t wait to move!

Absolutely incredible house. I know y’all will love it. It will be a great home to raise your kids in … they can each get their own room, and still have a guest room left for your in-laws to come visit. LOL

About Me

This blog is about me – Janice, a wife, mother, employee, runner, softball player, internet addict and a completely obsessed New Kids On The Block fan. My blog title is about my running, as at the time this blog began back in 2004 I was a running mother-to-be, training for a 1/2 marathon. Part way through the pregnancy running became too uncomfortable for me leading me to slowly back off on my running. Now a days “Mom On The Run” is a reflection of how busy life has become caring for 2 completely adorable, yet “spirited” little girls while my hubby travels A LOT for business, though I do still run on occasion.
