He takes me out for lunch when he has vacation days.
Sierra, my oldest daughter is now close to 3.5 and Brooke my youngest daughter is close to 16 mos old. Things in our little corner of the universe are just starting to get “good”.
Last week, while on our amazing NYC vacation, Rob and I bought a Wii Fit at the largest Toys r Us I’ve ever seen! Today I got up early and tried it out.
I have it all worked out – for ~$650/month I can live out of a car in NYC. I’ll never have to leave. I can soak up the atmosphere
But instead I’m on my laptop surfing the ‘net. Why I wonder – why am I procrastinating? I have this awesome chance to have 3 days of peace. 3 days to spend reconnecting with my hubby. A 3 day vacation in NEW YORK CITY that we are getting for free! And yet I’m procrastinating.
I don’t often use my blog to solicit for donations, but I think this is for a very good cause. My cousin Krista and her husband are stepping outside of their comfort zones and will be leaving their two young children (ages 3 and 1) to travel to Nicaragua on a medical mission. They need to raise $4000 in order to go and donate their time. Please, if you could spare $25 to help them save the lives of needy children, then please visit this link to donate: http://www.ftccorp.org/ftccanada/ Just choose Medical Projects)
In 9 days from now my MIL will be flying from Ottawa to our place near Toronto to look after my two wonderful daughters for 4 days while hubby and I live it up in New York City.
