SO my site is about being a mom, and about running… But the last time I checked, I hadn’t written about my running in eons!!!
Today I RAN! Sure it wasn’t stellar super fast, or even super far for that matter… BUT I RAN!!
And it was awesome! (Cold but awesome)
I wasn’t planning on running, but I was bored. Going anywhere with 3 kids takes a ridiculous amount of patience, and I couldn’t think of anywhere that I wanted to go bad enough to drag everyone along with me. So I said to hubby – I think I’m gonna go for a run. So I did.
I did week 3, day 1 of the couch to 5K iPhone app. Why? Because I need to return to running slowly… read: Injury Free. I’m going to run 2 half marathons this year. Did you catch that?
I’M GOING TO RUN TWO HALF MARATHONS THIS YEAR!
(I’ve already registered for them). So I need to run – and I need to write more about it because writing is motivating!
This week I plan on running Mon, Wed & Fri mornings. Its gonna be hard to get up. Super hard! But I’m determined. Today’s run was so awesome – and tomorrow morning is gonna be even better!

Good for you! Winter mornings are tough, but you can do it. I also want to run injury-free this year. Fingers crossed for both of us.

Fingers crossed! Kids caught me sneaking out today & I ended up playing Polly Pockets instead… Perhaps I need to invest in a dreadmill. Do you have one?

Go you! It must be hard squeezing any training in with kids – so you gotta do it early while the partner is still at home ay. Good luck with the half marathons.
