It’s a cold one here in beeeeyoootiful southern Ontario, -11 C (that converts to 12.2 F for all you American folks), and a windchill of -21 C (-5.8 F). Crap-diddly-ap! Too freaking cold to take the kiddos out for a walk/run, that blows my resolution plans out the window, I forgot about how cold it gets here in the winter. It’s a cold, cold day here – how are you spending your day? We’re working on potty training. We had a successful #2 to start the day off, but since then we’ve had 2 accidents
I’ve finally noticed something, whenever I pressure Sierra to potty train, she fights with me about everything. Refuses to eat lunch, refusing to nap, bosses me around when playing games, and jumps all over me when I try to nurse Brooke. I think it’s her way of saying “Back off mommy, I’ll do this in my own time”. So I’m taking the low-key approach. If she has an accident, she has an accident no big deal. I won’t keep putting her on the potty every 30 min. I’ll offer her a treat for trying, but if she doesn’t want to try then I won’t make her. This potty training thing sure is hard!

Is she naked from the tummy down? Just keep her naked from the tummy down, stay home for a week, and you’re done. It’s the only way it works….
I never potty trained anyone, my babysitters did that for me (lucky for me since I don’t have a clue). I know I kept both kids in diapers for bedtime still, but my daughter never had an accident ever (my son did) so we soon stopped that.
I even kept plastic over the mattresses, just in case, but we soon stopped that too (it’s really noisy to sleep over).
I don’t know if I would have taken a chance on the naked from the waist down idea, I would have been afraid of having pee (or worse) all over my furniture.
But the treat thing sounds good (it certainly isn’t advice since I don’t know).
