Did I Tell You…

That I’m back working out again? And that I’m going to do a 5K race in March? And that I’ll probably be slower this year not pregnant than when I ran it last year when I was 20 some odd weeks preggers? No word of a lie it’s all true!

I’ve found a new mom in town who’s as nutty as I am. She’s agreed to run with me every Sunday morning in the freezing cold. We ran this past Sunday together. I’m not sure how long we ran for ’cause it was so darn cold out that my watch kept freezing up! I think it was 25 min. It was great having company and having someone to chat with who’s facing all of the same issues raising a baby as I am. Yesterday I ran for 25 min on my Treadmill in the basement – boring icon rolleyes Did I Tell You... I watched part of an episode of LOST that I taped – and guess what? I couldn’t sleep again last night – I think I’ve pinpointed my insomnia to LOST – it freaks the crap outta me, but I’m so addicted to it! Today I went to Mommy & Me Fitness – it was fun. Friday I have Mommy & Me Fitness again, and I’m hoping to motivate myself to go to the gym tomorrow night after Sierra goes to bed. At this rate I *should* be in 5K shape by March 5th…

Also – did I tell you that I have about 10-15lbs left to lose, though I’m *almost* at my pre-pregnancy weight (4 lbs to go!). Hopefully I can keep myself motivated to keep it up. It’s great wearing non-maternity clothes, even though I only have 2 pairs of non-maternity pants that fit….

Congrats and good luck. Keep up the good work. I managed to get on the treadmill once this week for 20 minutes. Hey – it’s better than nothing right? Got your message about LLL but we only got home at 6 and we were already late for dinner, skipped a nap and tired from being out all day. Funny that you called for the invite because today I took our lactation consultant from Credit Valley a thank you gift for all the help she had given us. A little bit late – but better than never. Have fun at the LLL. Frankly, I’m sick of breastfeeding and can’t wait until we get back from BC so I can really start weaning. Hopefully he drops some feeds while we’re there – particulary the 1am, 3am and 6am ones.

That’s awesome!! I haven’t seen lost, but from what i’ve heard it would make me stop sleeping too! I’m going to buy Season One on DVD and catfch up, and hten get Season two. You look great, and I know how much running means to you. THis is awesome news. I’m starting Sisters next week. I’ve got about 25-30lbs (about 12 to my PP weight — but I’d put on 15lbs from fruity alcohol drinks all summer 2004) to lose…any tips?

Had to comment, since I’m your crazy running partner! Where’s the March 5k? If I have that to aim for, I might actually run more than just once a week on Sunday  . I fully intended to take the baby out in the jogging stroller on Monday, then it was so cold I didn’t want to (excuses, excuses). I swear I’m taking her out tomorrow no matter what!

ooooh don’t talk to me about clothes that don’t fit – I didn’t even have a baby. And my Bally’s membership has run out but then I never used it anyway – I don’t like Bally’s as much as I like the Y.

Now that I’ve got a job starting though, I figure I’ll use my lunch hour to go for a little walk everyday. Exercise R Us – coming up.
