Sorry for not posting much this week, dear readers, but my hubby decided that he wanted to turn our computer into Fort Knox. First he backed up our files, then wiped the hard drive, then reinstalled XP, installed the security updates, disabled some unnecessary “.exe’s”, installed AdAware, as well as some anti-spyware, and anti-virus, then installed Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird. After that he setup a hardware firewall and a software firewall. Finally after all of that I’m back in business. The funny thing is – the computer doesn’t run any faster – it’s STILL slow as molasses.
