They’re all mine! Sierra Nicole Smith decided Wednesday evening after I got home from work, that she just couldn’t wait to meet her family that we’ve told her so much about. After a short nap (20 min) I got up to go to the washroom – when GUSH! My “membranes ruptured” (a nice way of saying my water broke). I’m rather tired, as we were discharged from the hospital yesterday afternoon, so I’ll keep this short (kinda like my new daughter). June 8, 2005 at 11:15 PM (after 5 hours of labour and 15 min of pushing) Sierra Nicole Smith popped into our world. I mean it literally – she almost went flying across the room – thankfully Johnny Bench* was there to catch her! She weighed in at 5.0 lbs, 18.5 inches long, and she has sandy blonde hair and blue eyes. We’re both doing well, and we’ll update you more later in the week (after all of the grandparents go home).
