What is a gravatar you ask?
A gravatar, or globally recognized avatar, is quite simply an 80×80 pixel avatar image that follows you from weblog to weblog appearing beside your name when you comment on gravatar enabled sites. Avatars help identify your posts on web forums, so why not on weblogs?
How do you get one?
Sign up at Gravatar.com, upload your own avatar image and soon after you’ll start seeing it on gravatar enabled weblogs!

I don’t think it’s being a “copy cat” per se. It’s not like I’m the first one to ever come up with this original idea or anything. Anyway, glad you were able to make it work!
