After being so happy yesterday to FINALLY have a day to myself, today I find myself regretting putting Sierra in daycare for 2 days/week. Tomorrow I want her home with me! Why? Cause I freaking missed her! The house was FAR too quiet, and getting things done was FAR too easy! Holy crap, am I certifiably NUTS?

Not nuts. Keep her home for a hooky day whenever you feel like it – it’s daycare, not school – and then you can send her back when you need to!

Nuts?? Definitely. Hell I’ll take her to school tomorrow morning. You won’t even need to get out of bed.

what you are doing and feeling is being a mom. That’s it. Keep your child at home if you can at all. Get some more rest. Finds ways to recoup your energies and YOU CAN do this.
You really can.

awww You know what I go back and forth (usually by the end of the day) whether or not to send my oldest to preschool or the like. Of course you miss your girl like crazy, but give it some time to get used to it and enjoy it, if after a while you still hate it stop. Listen to your gut, And play hookey when you can

Yes, certifiably. You’ll get used to it. And you’ll appreciate the time she’s home more. And you’ll be surprised to see all the new things she learns (and the bad habits)
No, you’re not nuts. Follow your feelings on this and do what you want to do. It’s really true that time flies, and we have our children for so short a time.
You, nuts, no. A fabulous Mommy – YES!
