How mean am I? Sierra is playing with a rather large, hard plastic rattle – but she doesn’t want to play with it anymore. Instead of just letting go of it, she’s throwing a temper tantrum and hitting herself in the head with it. The more she struggles, the harder she hits herself and the more she cries – It’s just too funny…. Hmmmm… maybe big mean mommy should go rescue her now from the big mean rattle?

Great stuff! She’s starting to figure out how much power she can have over you.
The wife and I have been watching babies with a sociological interest lately. They figure out very quickly who holds the power.
Heh, heh. Its a tough life when you can’t control your arms quite right yet. Poor little Sierra!
LOL. Poor little thing. hehe
awww Isn’t it cool that she is doing something OTHER than Sleeping Eating and Pooping? hehe
chelle
Hee hee. Our 6 month old is still doing that from time to time. It’s funny but I can’t bear watching it.
There’s lots of “nerf” stuff out there to give them. It may be time (but first get the smacks on the head on video, those will be hilarious to watch over and over).
Don’t give in, she will start asking for the car keys next! Or it will seem that way.
lol, oh dear.
Too funny! When our first kiddo was Sierra’s age, he found his ear. He grabbed it and played with it, and pulled it. It hurt! He yelled and yelled, which we interpreted as “HELP! SOMEBODY’S PULLING MY EAR OFF!” It was SO hard not to laugh, but he did it over and over again, no matter how many times we rescued him…
