Mothering Mommy

!@(runnynose.gif popimg: “Runny Nose”)A nice day of rest and relaxation is just what the DR ordered. Sierra has given me her cold… I never ever in a thousand years thought that my baby would get a cold and then give it to me – I always thought she’d get one from me first… Anyways – I’m down for the count – completely wiped out. I can’t breathe out of one nostril, and when I try to breathe through my mouth I break into a dry hacking cough. Not fun icon cry Mothering Mommy But alas! My mommy is here! She’s been mothering me all day – yay!

PS – Don’t you just love that self portrait?

I figured out early on that what ever Eric got, I would get shortly after. We are STILL playing that game after 2 years. Good thing I never gave him my pneumonia earlier this year.

As for my other squirt Ryan, he hasn’t had any fullblown illness, which is a little scary… it’d be nice to know how he reacts since they all act differently. Eric had two ear infections and was only a little fussy… go figure.

Hang in there and get better!

Ah, you can look forward to many happy years of getting whatever she’s got – hope you’ve had chicken pox already.

I think that’s very sweet of Sierra – she’s only 5 months old and she’s already learned how to share

Ah yes, be prepared, most likely this will happen a lot. At least until she builds her immune system more.

I catch EVERYTHING that our kids get. I rarely give things to them but they are always sharing with me. Comes with the parenting job description, I guess. The hard part is taking care of sick kids when everyone else in the house is sick too. Fortunately that doesn’t happen very often.

    Get well soon!
