Here it is 1:19 AM and I’m up typing away on my computer. Did I exercise yesterday? Did I clean my house? Noooooooo… But if I’ve been on my computer for four hours tonight then I obviously have time to exercise or clean my house.
Now that I’ve come to that conclusion I’m wide awake and excited! Excited you ask? Why? I’m excited because I now have a plan – and plans make me excited!!!
I realize that every night as soon as the kids have gone to bed and a bare minimum amount of housework is done (kitchen has been cleaned), I whip out my laptop and surf, twitter, surf, twitter… Can you say addicted? SO I’ve decided that starting Saturday I’m going to get up at 6 am and go for a run. Why Saturday? Because Thursday and Friday hubby is in New York and someone has to be in the house with the kiddos, otherwise those folks at the CAS might get involved…. Why 6 am? because it’ll start the day off on a good foot and will hopefully set the tone for the rest of the day (including my work day). I know that in the first few weeks it’ll take every once of motivation I have to get out of bed, but after a few weeks the dog will be licking my face to get up as soon as my alarm goes off (because she LOVES running too).
Wish me luck!
Oh and btw – while typing this and listening to Brooke’s monitor I’ve come to the realization that she doesn’t sleep through the night because her crib rattles when she rolls into the railings…

Came to a similar conclusion a few weeks ago. Also, realized that the pregnancy fat wouldn’t shed on its own, and I would look tubby in the Domincan. So I joined a gym, with a friend. So we can encourage each other.

Now that it is cold and dark at the time I was running and the buying a house thing … I am so off track. I am so going to join a gym next week after my Dad returns home. I am hoping it will help me stay balanced while preparing to move.
Kudos to you for making a plan. That is always the first step!

Yep. I just made a deal with myself…blog then over for a run or a walk on the treadmill. I’m going now. Honest.
Oh, I saw on twitter that you’re looking for marketing tips. Have you tried Entrecard.com yet? I just started on it and it’s upped my hits a bit…just fyi.

I used to do that – the working out first thing in the morning. I won’t mention how I was getting up at 5:00 a.m. to drive over to the gym and workout for an hour, then home and ready for work.
While I did feel good at the time, once those clocks changed, I couldn’t get up any more. It’s too bad computers don’t wear off pounds with usage – I would be so skinny.

How did you get a picture of my butt? I didn’t know I even owned a pair of blue jeans like that!
I need to start some type of exercise program. I am starting to put on way to much weight. I guess eating a better diet might help too!
Great minds think alike! As soon as I get over my cold/allergies/bronchitis/asthma/whatever the heck I have, I’m also going to start running again, but unlike you, I’ll be doing it after work. You know how I feel about the mornings and I STILL think it should be illegal to have to get out of bed before noon. Good luck!
