I’m sorry I can’t help you with your suggested topic. I’ve never been on a diet. But, I do have some tips. Maybe they will help.
Raise your metabolism: Metabolism is somewhat genetics, but you can increase basal metabolism. Increased metabolism burns more calories. Vita B and Vita C and 64 oz of water every day. Focus on good protein, high-fiber fruits & veges and occasionaly some high-fiber grain. Eat 5-6 times a day, 3 meals AND healthy snacks in between. The reason is that eating raises our metabolism – not eating will not help you loose weight. When you “crash diet” or skip meals your body thinks it is starving which in results in slowing down the metabolism to conserve energy. One last tip: Get involved in aerobics.
The only other thing I know of is (but don’t know if you’d be comfy taking them) is supplements or a herb but they make them for raising metabolism. Speak with a doctor, first, of course.
