Think back to the last time you went shopping for new eyeglass frames – do you remember how horrible an experience it was? Thousands of frames lining the walls just begging to be tried on. Mirrors everywhere so you can see how the glasses look on you from every angle. Now after trying on 6, 7, maybe even 10 frames do you remember what the first one looked like on you? Yeah – me neither.
| I’m blind – well not literally, but I’m slowly losing my sight and it’s time to pick out new glasses. I could do the contacts thang but yanno, trying to stick my fingers in my eyes every morning with two small children begging for attention just doesn’t do it for me. Besides glasses look good on me (really they do).
So tonight I surfed on over to FrameFinder on FramesDirect, an incredibly awesome site for trying on frames – virtually! And I put together my 6 top picks for frames. Now I need your help – which of these frames look AWESOME on me? |

I picked frame #2. I think the square frame best fits the size and shape of your face. The black color also matches any outfit and occasion. I might have picked #6 if they were black though.

Frame #4 looks like perfect proportions for your face. But the frame is too dark and overpowers your coloring. You need that style of frame in a lighter color. I think you’ll get a lot of votes on #3 because it’s the best color pick out of this selection. You definitely want a lighter frame like that.

#3 Small, light wieght, and you can probably get them in flex steel which is good for having kids around. If they get stepped on they won’t break! (my son has some)

Funny, I just bought two new pairs of glasses – went to Hakim’s this time and got two pairs for my $900 instead of one pair for the same price at Costco. I’m waiting for them to come next week. I thought it had been two years and that now it was covered by my plan… I was wrong, it’s not covered yet. I’m an idiot.
That would have been a neat idea though to have shots and styles for people to vote on. I’m not as interactive as you.

Imo I think your face fits best with a not fully circular nor square frame, although if I had to pick a second choice, I’d say #2, non circular.
