Tears Of Happiness

Is it normal to cry whenever your child reaches a new milestone? “Cause today I find myself very emotional. On Wednesday Sierra rolled over from her tummy to her back (and I missed it icon cry Tears Of Happiness ). I had just finished taping her with our webcam to send to her daddy at work (he’s been working so much lately that I got cocky and decided to send some footage of her to him in case he’d forgotten what she looked like…). Anyways, while I was typing the email to him, I heard a thunk which was followed by a wimper. I looked over to Sierra who had been happily playing on her tummy… only she was now on her back! Holy crap she rolled over! I immediately put her back on her tummy and sat and watched her, and watched her and watched her – no more rolling icon cry Tears Of Happiness So today, after I got off the phone I looked over at my sweet little daughter who was playing on her tummy – only again! She was on her back! She did it again! I put her right back on her tummy… and Yippee! She rolled over for me to see! I pulled out the webcam to tape her, and yep – she wouldn’t do it again icon cry Tears Of Happiness I hope she does it again today so that I can tape and post it!

Totally normal to cry. I actually scream “Yay – you did it”:!: I usually apply a song for every accomplishment too.
Right now our theme song is “Walking on Sunshine” whenever Konnor holds my hands and walks. Don’t get too excited though. Eventually those cries are a result of every time your child bumps their head. I think I am going to get Konnor a helmet for Christmas:lol:
You’ll have to let me know what your schedule is next week so we can invite you over for lunch so we can see Sierra roll.
When I want to tape Konnor doing new things, I usually catch him after he has fed after a nap – that way I know he has lots of energy. Congrats Sierra:!: Let us know about next week.

w00t w00t for Sierra and her Mommy!
I always cry when Becca hits a milestone. It is pride and awe. I mean we have to be doing something right if they are growing right?
    Enjoy the moment!

You think you are crying now… just wait until she says “mama” and is actually asking for you than just hearing herself talk. or even better yet, the first time that she reaches out with both arms for you to hold. Oh yeah, you better go get some tissue… it only gets better from here.

    Enjoy the moment!

Very normal. And you think you might grow out of it after they’re not cute little babies any more? Not. I bawl at Little Runner’s school concerts and end of year school picnics, and she’s TEN.

Great job Sierra. Rose hates tummy time. I’m sure it’s normal to be emotional.

She was just getting back at you for not rescuing her yesterday from that big hard rattle! Sierra, I can’t wait to see you again! You’ll roll over for me won’t you?
