For the tech savvy it’s a Canon Powershot S2 IS camera (5 megapixel, 12x digital zoom) blah, blah, blah – it’s got all the bells and whistles we could possibly need fo rthe next 10 years!
What a great daughter I have! I’ve been playing around with it and having lots of fun – My next post will show you what we’ve been up to this past week…

Cool. IS is a fantastic technology; I just bought my third IS lens today (though the second one will be sold soon to help pay for the third one).
My cat is less generous than your daughter, though he did buy me a way cool universal remote control for all my assorted home entertainment stuff.
