Today Sierra Brooke and I all went to “Playdate in the Park” (again). Sierra
completely blows me away – she looks all grown up to me. She’s so independent and her new favourite phrase is “Me do it!”. Sigh – she’s not a little baby anymore (thankfully I have Brooke to baby now). She can climb up parts of the play structure all by herself that two year olds should definitely not be able to do by themselves… She won’t even let me go near her to help her, so I just leave her to do it herself. But then there are other times when I have to remember that she’s still “ONLY” two. Like when she gets tired or hungry and whiny, or when she screams in frustration because she doesn’t want to share. It’s at those moments that I’m reminded of how old she really is. Today she insisted on wearing her hat backwards with her sunglasses. On her feet are a pair of crocs. What a fashion diva. I can’t believe that a two year old has fashion sense – but she does (and more so than her mommy ever had, as Kimmie can attest to).

You’re doing so well at getting out with two. I’m thinking I’ll struggle with that. Especially since it’ll be New Years and the weather will suck.
You so know we would have been rocking the crocs (or at least fake ones) if they were around when we were young!!
Kaitlyn thinks she’s a teenager at 6….it’s scary, but these kids are growing up much quicker than we were.
Yay for your playdate!!
Look at how big she is!! And those long pigtails!!! It seems like she was just a teenie baby herself and now she’s a big kid. The time flies by so quickly.
