Why I Love Sundays

Yes – I love Sundays. It’s the day of rest . Seriously – I love Sundays ’cause that’s the day I go for a nice long run. Well, ok 30 min is hardly a long run – but when you’re a new mom it’s a pretty long run (and a nice break from baby). Cosmo Boy is really adjusting to looking after Sierra on Sunday mornings, he seems much more comfortable with it. Which means I can leave and not worry about them! Yay!

!@(Img_0025small.jpg popimg: “Never Wake A Sleeping Dawg”)Today my run was chilly, the windchill made it feel like -20 C ( that’s -4F for you non-metric people). Yeah – I know – I’m a wee bit insane, especially ’cause I actually PREFER to run in the winter – January & February are my 2 most favourite months to run. But that’s not why I like running in winter – nope I like running in winter ’cause of how tired it makes me feel afterwards – my best naps are on Sunday afternoons. Today was no different – I managed to catch a 90 minute snooze wheile Sierra was napping. I took Cosmo Dawg along with me this morning too – she’s been sleeping all day!

  1. WOW! NOW THAT IS CHILLY. THE COLDEST I EVER WENT FOR A RUN WAS -10F (I’M ONE OF THE NOT METIC PEOPLE), AND THAT WASN’T WITH THE WIND CHILL ….. JUST WISH MY KNEES AND ANKLES WOULD ALLOW ME TO GO NOW.

  2. your sundays sound nice.
me? i can’t stand sundays. there is no resting on my sundays.
the only good thing about sundays is grey’s anatomy :)
