!@(perfectbrows2.gif popimg: “Pretty Eyebrows”)Yippeee! I got out! It was so liberating and wonderful! I think I’m a much better mother if I get out once in a while – hopefully I can manage to get out more often, now that I know it can be done. I was so excited about it that I even went out and got my eyebrows waxed – now I’m a SAHM mom with pretty eyebrows (don’t ask about the legs).
On Friday night I tried to put Sierra down a bit early, but it ended up being at her usual time ’cause Cosmo Boy and I have so much fun playing with her and delayed getting her ready for bed. Anyways, she went down easily and I headed out right after. I showed up at my friend Judy’s place at 9:15 – a little later than I had planned – but I was out! My pal Bronwen was already there and the 2 of them had already had a few drinks. I relaxed with a beer with them – then we grabbed a cab to bar_one for a late dinner. The food was great and the company was better . I gotta admit – I don’t have alot to talk about these days except for childbirth, babies, and Regis & Kelly. I *could* talk about running – but as much as I enjoy running,it doesn’t make for an exhilerating conversation – LOL – as if talking about babies does…. Anyways – we shared a litre of wine and a few appies and a pizza then headed out to The Drake Hotel for more drinks and some dancing. It was dry there (all the men were either not into women or single for a reason… Bronwen’s hubby joined us for drinks at another bistro nearby. We chatted some more, made of fun of people, giggled and then we decided to call it a night. We cabbed it back to Judy’s and then I drove home (for those keeping score I only had 2 drinks, a beer at Judy’s and a glass of wine at bar_one).
Oh yeah! And the best part of the night? Guys were checking me out! How cool is that? Too bad they had no idea that the gal they were checking out was wearing all maternity clothes and a nursing bra 😆
