I just told them they were not allowed to eat the cookie dough, although Brooke did put a dough ball in her mouth and it was baked. I figured the heat of the baking would kill whatever germs she put on it. We had fun and the cookies were delicious even though I don’t normally like chocolate chip cookies. Opa baked some chocolate chip oatmeal cookies today and I`m enjoying his “burnt offerings“ with my tea as I type. He left them in too long and he should have put the cookie sheet on the middle rack of the oven.
