I love trees.
My mulberry tree (behind my house) is also starting to drop its leaves, while the oak up front and across the street tends to hold on to its leaves until well into November.
this means I get a full two months of raking! Oh boy! won’t my compost bin be full!

I have your trees sister here. She thinks the same thing, even tho it was 80 degrees today.
It might be winter in your neck of the woods. But it was 90 degrees outside yesterday!
Our trees are not there yet, not as bare, but they have started turning colour.
