You Can’t Outwit & Outlast The Taxman

Washington – Richard Hatch, the winner of the first Survivor series, failed to report more than $1-million at tax time, American prosecutors said on Tuesday.

Hatch, 43, of Newport, Rhode Island, also failed to report $321 000 paid to him by a Boston radio station, the US Department of Justice said in a statement.

If found guilty, Hatch could spent five years in prison or face a fine of $250 000. MORE

Umm… did he think that government officials don’t watch TV?

Maybe he thought, since he was on an island, that he didn’t need to pay taxes; either that or he is like goofy dumb!

Especially since the people that GAVE him the money told the IRS they did so (same as a paycheck, they file that you received it)
